π 1. CRYPTO MARKET OVERVIEW
Bitcoin is trading around $81.6K, down approximately 1.3% overnight after dipping toward $81K on Thursday. With the Federal Reserve decision approaching on Wednesday, October 28, markets remain cautious.
β’ BTC: $81,581 (-0.23% on the latest snapshot) β’ ETH: $2,396 (-0.15%) β’ Total Crypto Market Cap: $2.73T (-0.19%) β’ 24H Trading Volume: $66.84B (-25.1%) β’ BTC Dominance: 60.02% (-0.03%) β’ Fear & Greed: 48 (Neutral) β’ Altcoin Season Index: 57/100
π BTC LEVELS TO WATCH
β’ Immediate Support: $81,000β$81,200 β’ Key Support Zone: $80,000β$80,500 β’ Major Psychological Support: $80,000 β’ Immediate Resistance: $82,000β$82,500 β’ Next Resistance: $83,000β$83,500 β’ Major Resistance: $84,000β$84,500
Market interpretation: BTC is consolidating near $81Kβ$82K, with momentum vulnerable to macroeconomic headlines and changes in risk appetite. A sustained move above $82.5K could open a retest of $83Kβ$83.5K. Losing $81K would put the $80K area back in focus.
These are technical monitoring zones based on the supplied market context, not confirmed breakout levels. Watch for volume and follow-through before interpreting either move as directional confirmation.

π¦ 2. BANKING & TOKENIZATION
SoFi launches interest-bearing tokenized deposits
SoFi introduced SOFIE, a tokenized bank deposit offering 4.40% APY. Each token represents $1 held at SoFi Bank, with FDIC insurance subject to applicable limits and conditions.
SOFIE can convert 1:1 into the SoFiUSD stablecoin. The distinction matters: SOFIE represents an interest-bearing bank deposit, while SoFiUSD is a stablecoin.
SoFi cited Federal Reserve research estimating that $64 billion in stablecoins sits idle, highlighting the potential demand for interest-bearing digital cash products.
Why it matters: Traditional banking is moving on-chain, potentially bringing blockchain settlement closer to regulated deposit infrastructure.
JPMorgan expands tokenized money market funds to Solana
J.P. Morgan Asset Management launched its MONY and JLTXX tokenized money market funds on Solana for qualified US investors through its Morgan Money platform.
JLTXX is a registered government money market fund designed to support stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act. JPMorgan managed $4.8 trillion in assets as of September 30.
The broader trend is clear: established financial institutions are exploring blockchain networks to improve fund distribution, settlement and interoperability with digital-asset markets.
However, these products remain subject to eligibility requirements, custody arrangements, smart-contract risks and regulatory restrictions.

π³ 3. CRYPTO-BACKED BORROWING
Kalshi Prime and BitGo launch HODL Margining
Eligible Kalshi Prime customers can borrow US dollars against BTC, ETH or stablecoins to fund perpetual futures margin without selling their crypto holdings.
The pledged assets remain in custody at BitGo Bank & Trust.
Why it matters: β’ Traders can access liquidity without immediately selling their holdings. β’ Crypto collateral is becoming more integrated with derivatives trading. β’ Borrowing introduces additional liquidation, collateral and counterparty risks.
The important question is how collateral ownership, control and liquidation rights work under the product's legal terms.

βοΈ 4. REGULATION & CUSTODY
Coinbase Ireland fined β¬3.25 million
Ireland's Central Bank fined Coinbase Ireland Limited β¬3.25 million for failures involving customer e-money safeguarding and oversight of outsourced controls between November 2020 and August 2025.
The regulator said the company relied too heavily on its US parent and allowed its safeguarding account to remain underfunded for extended periods.
The sanction still requires High Court confirmation.
Market significance: Crypto regulation increasingly focuses on whether exchanges protect customer funds and maintain effective internal controls, not just whether they comply with trading rules.

π 5. BITCOIN & ETHEREUM ETF FLOWS
Bitcoin ETFs initially attracted strong inflows
US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $528.4 million in inflows on Wednesday, their strongest day during a three-day period that attracted more than $1 billion.
BlackRock's IBIT and Fidelity's FBTC accounted for approximately 85% of those inflows.
Ethereum ETFs attracted $14.9 million, ending five consecutive sessions of outflows.
However, the broader market update also reports that US spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced $635.49 million in outflows in the subsequent session, their largest daily outflow since June 25.
What this means: β’ Institutional demand has not disappeared, but flows remain volatile. β’ Strong inflows followed by a large reversal suggest positioning is sensitive to changing market conditions. β’ ETF flows should be evaluated alongside spot demand, derivatives positioning, price action and macroeconomic developments.
Do not interpret a single day's inflows or outflows as definitive evidence of a sustained trend.

π 6. GLOBAL MACRO: RISK-OFF SIGNALS
US technology stocks sell off
Meta fell 6.98% to $648.85, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 2.6%, its worst session since June. The S&P 500 fell 1.2%, while the Dow finished slightly higher.
Other major AI-related stocks also declined: β’ Nvidia: -4.4% β’ AMD: -8.1% β’ CoreWeave: -10%
Investors are questioning whether massive AI infrastructure spending will generate sufficient returns. Meta raised the lower end of its annual capital expenditure guidance to $135 billion, while concerns about financing the broader AI buildout remain.
US Treasury yields fall sharply
The 10-year Treasury yield dropped to 4.95%, down 19.3 basis points in its largest one-day decline since March 2023. The two-year yield fell 18.8 basis points to 4.64%.
Markets also sharply reduced expectations of a Federal Reserve rate increase at the October 28 meeting. The reported probability fell to 7.2%, from 27.7% a week earlier and 55.4% a month earlier.
Why crypto traders should care:
Lower Treasury yields can support risk assets by easing financial conditions. However, the simultaneous sell-off in technology stocks suggests investors are also concerned about growth, valuations and capital availability.
The key question is whether falling yields reflect improving expectations for monetary policy or growing concern about economic conditions.

π’οΈ 7. OIL & GEOPOLITICAL RISK
Brent crude reaches a five-month closing high
Brent settled 4% higher at $113.17 per barrel after reports that Saudi Aramco evacuated its Dhahran headquarters as fighting involving Yemen's Houthis intensified.
In the subsequent morning update: β’ Brent: $114.47 (+1.2%) β’ WTI: $100.84
The reports did not establish a new halt in Saudi oil production. Separately, a pipeline valve closure in Libya reduced production at the Hamada and Tahara fields.
US crude inventories reportedly fell by approximately 3.06 million barrels in the week to October 16.
Market implications: β’ Higher oil prices increase inflation risks. β’ Persistent energy inflation could complicate the Federal Reserve's policy decisions. β’ Geopolitical escalation can increase volatility across equities, bonds, currencies and crypto.
Bitcoin's reaction will depend on whether markets prioritize easing financial conditions or a broader risk-off response to geopolitical uncertainty.

π 8. SPACEX: SHARE UNLOCK & DEBT PRESSURE
SpaceX fell 9.14% to $144.75 on its reported unlock day, reversing its previous 7.79% gain following its results.
Approximately 196.2 million shares traded, around twice the average volume of 97.7 million. The event made up to 1.3 billion pre-listing shares eligible for sale.
Separately, SpaceX was reportedly finalizing a $40 billion debt deal at higher interest rates than its previous borrowing. The company has guided for $35 billionβ$40 billion in capital expenditure this quarter, adding to concerns about financing its AI infrastructure expansion.
Why it matters: The combination of newly tradable shares, elevated selling volume and rising financing needs highlights the pressure that liquidity events and capital-intensive growth can place on valuations.

π DELTANODE CONCLUSION
The crypto market remains cautious, with Bitcoin hovering near $81.6K and sentiment neutral at 48. The broader picture is mixed: institutional ETF demand has shown strength but also a sharp reversal, while falling Treasury yields conflict with weakness in technology stocks and rising oil prices.
For BTC, the immediate focus is the $81K support area and the $82Kβ$82.5K resistance zone. A break in either direction needs confirmation from volume, spot demand and derivatives positioning.
Tokenization and institutional infrastructure continue to develop, but these longer-term developments have not yet resolved the market's near-term directional uncertainty.
Focus: BTC support and resistance, ETF flows, Treasury yields, oil prices and the October 28 Fed decision. Avoid treating headline-driven moves as confirmed trends without supporting market data.
